My husband and I have been very fond of taking pictures with our digital camera. When our daughter was born in 2004, our picture-taking became even wilder, and sharing pictures with friends and family from all over the world was so much fun. We accumulated lots and lots of pictures but didn't know what to do with them. Most of the time they were just stored in the computer.
We began doing collages of our daughter's pictures and would email them to all our friends in different continents (as far as the Middle East, US, Africa). Then our friends would ask us to do it for them too. That's how we got the idea of doing photomosaics. People can admire all the pictures in one big mosaic. It's like an album in just one picture!
Here is our daughter's birthday mosaic which we did for her 1st birthday. Its a compilation of all the pictures we've accumulated since the day she was born to her first birthday.
